Internet Marketing Strategies – Finding the Right Mix

To successfully generate the correct mix of Internet marketing strategies, you need to plan ahead and work out some parameters relating to your business, to coincide with the Internet marketing strategies that are known and most implemented with businesses worldwide.

One of the first things you need to do when looking for Internet marketing strategies is to identify and emphasize the goals of your business, as you would do in all strategy planning in traditional business. Once you have planned these goals, you need to decide how your online web marketing strategy can complement your overall plans for your business.

You must set a series of actions, which will cause you to achieve these goals. Then, you will have to constantly evaluate the effectiveness of the different actions in achieving the goals and make necessary changes, if and when needed. You must be flexible.

Note that determining if a certain strategy is effective or not, can take some time, so you must not rush things when you think your Internet marketing strategies do not generate revenue right away.

Whether you have your own product to sell or you’re a part of an affiliate program to promote another product, the success of any endeavor relies on 2 key elements. One is Traffic and the other is Conversion. With implementing Internet marketing strategies you will be judged by these two parameters, which will indicate the potential of your business. Traffic is the parameter of exposure to your web site while conversion is the amount of people who view your web site and become long-term clients of your business. Achieving high levels of traffic and conversion is an art of it self, and is a trait you need to master. Using the right Internet marketing techniques will bring you home.

Now lets get down to business. Low cost or free Internet marketing strategies include using advertising and pay-per-click (PPC), writing in forums, search engine optimization (SEO), web site design, press releases, article marketing and blogging, list building and email marketing. Of course your budget will determine which ones you can or can’t use.

Advertising & Pay-Per-Click (PPC)

Advertising and pay-per-click are Internet marketing strategies who serve as a mean to draw people to your website. This can include placing advertisements in websites with high page ranks and high traffic rates, advertising on Youtube videos that are most highly viewed, which by the way, allows the video creator to make money on Youtube in the process, or placing classified ads on classified ads sites like ebay, which in this case, ensures your ad will be seen by people who come to buy not just search for information.

Pay-per-click is a way to get your ad in front of people who are interested in the kind of product you want to sell, by incorporating them to search engines results relating to your product, by paying for each time someone click on this ad and is connected to your site or sale page.

This method can cost you a bundle if you do not learn how to utilize it correctly. On the other hand, you can use pay-per-click ads to make money with your website, using programs like Google AdSense, Yahoo Publisher or Microsoft AdCenter. Search engine optimization (SEO) can help you control this method much efficiently.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

Search engine optimization (SEO) is mainly the most important of the Internet marketing strategies for designing your web site or sale page in the optimum way so search engines will notice you and rank you high in their keyword searches. Not doing so results simply in people searching keywords that relate to your product, not to see your site in their search result page.

Writing in Forums and Blogging

Writing in forums and blogging are very effective Internet marketing strategies. This will allow people, who read these posts to be interested in your views and opinions, on the specific subject that is related to your product, insuring your readers will be the right target audience for your product, most likely to be interested in it and most likely to click on the link to your site or sale page.

Article writing

Article writing is another way to get attention from readers interested in your product subject by posting them on article directories. You can write an informative article that gives away some “secrets” of the trade, or incorporate links to receive some sort of benefit for those who click it and go to your web site. These links will also serve you as means to improve your web site ranking with search engines. You can try creating joint ventures with writers who already have a big audience and followers.

Press Releases

Press releases are usually not free, and require the knowledge of using the right format for writing it, and writing it in such manner that will make it news worthy. This could entail announcing your product or service is nothing like ever seen before or it or the use of it, is revolutionary, or a whole new way of thinking of this subject, or by telling a fantastic story about people who used your product. A good press release could end up on the news.

Email Marketing and List Building

Email marketing and list building are mile stones in Internet marketing strategies, for they are the most direct way to contact people you think will be interested in your product. The key is to get email addresses of people who might buy your product. There are many ways to achieve that, and you should learn them so your email sending is more efficient.

These Internet marketing strategies along with network marketing tips, will allow you to maximize your profits and run your business marketing plan the best way to can hope for to achieve your long term goals.

What about people who make videos and sell ads on them? Does this work as well? I saw advertising on Youtube. You cant avoid it anymore.

That’s one legit way of earning money with videos as well. You notice the small text boxes on YouTube? Links to affiliate products can be placed there. By doing so, you can advertise on YouTube for free (there’s not telling if YouTube will take down these links after some time, so you better be careful).

Pay per Click was my first job on the internet! It all started as a joke and I did not even believe they will pay me. A friend of mine recommended me and when I saw that with patience and perseverance I could make some money, I began to take it more seriously. I wrote in forums for a little while and now I made myself a blog.

I am searching for tips and trick to make my blog more successful. I already have some articles written and published. Thank you for the inspiration you give us, please don’t stop updating the site!

Driving traffic to a new website can really put your SEO skills to the test. But here’s what I really love, there are tons of effective marketing tools out there and you will never run out of options. Some of these great tips were discussed here and two of my favorites are article writing and blogging. Blogging is a great marketing tool. Selecting the right keywords is extremely important for SEO. Some minor tips for bloggers: you have to be interesting and unique so that people will feel their time wasn’t wasted while reading your post. Eventually, you’ll gain loyal subscribers who may become potential buyers to your online business (if you have one) and before you know it, your business is up and running.
