After everything that I’ve written in this blog, I know I make online moneymaking sound like a walk in the park. Maybe I’m finally reaping the efforts of years of trying to figure out the best ways of making money online.

Maybe I finally know the secrets of how to finally earn more online than the money a regular 9 to 5 job guarantees. Maybe I’ve just gotten lucky. Or, maybe, making money online is just not as simple as you think.

Like everything else in life, you stop earning money the moment you think you know enough about online moneymaking. The biggest enemy you will encounter is yourself – your arrogant and overconfident self. Let me give you four reasons (and resolutions!) on why making money online is just as difficult as any other dead end jobs.

The Unprofitable Baby Steps

Most of my readers have said it themselves: the first few months of their attempts are just not enough to sustain their living. Whether they try a small business or join an affiliate marketing program, they’re just not earning enough. The problem is even graver for unguided people who don’t know who or where to turn to.

Resolution: These baby steps are necessary; in fact, they will even be helpful in making you realize just how precious and difficult earning money is once you finally get ‘there’!

As I’ve mentioned, every other person who’s attempted to earn money online has gone through this phase.

There are far too many scams online.

In fact, you may have written a few articles that have gone unpaid or rendered a few services that have not been properly compensated.

But should these scams tear you down? Definitely not! In fact, they should even make you stronger and a lot more vigilant when making money online.

Resolution: The solution is simple: avoid online moneymaking scams. I’ve already explained to you how you can assess the legitimacy of an opportunity. The trick is to never let your guard down and always maintain a reasonable amount of doubt whenever transacting with a customer or client.

The Unpredictable Advancements

If you compare, Facebook’s current number of registered users isn’t even half as many as its registered users three years ago. That’s how fast the Internet changes – by the millions.

No one could have predicted the success of Internet marketing, but look at where it is now. The unpredictability of the Internet is exactly what makes making money online exciting – and difficult as well.

Resolution: Like me, always be on your toes. Subscribe to as many news feeds as possible. Be in touch with the latest technology. Whatever it takes, don’t let yourself get left behind! What’s profitable today will surely not be as profitable tomorrow.

The Self-Defeating Mindset

What if I’m just wasting my time? How long do I have to wait until I get a reasonable amount of profits? Why is making money online so confusing?

The only way you can make these questions go away is by answering them. Unfortunately, many people take the negative route and believe that they will never earn online. This kind of self-defeating mindset is exactly what you should avoid!

Resolution: Stop being so pessimistic and drive all your energy into making money online instead! This mindset will only pull your drive down and stop you from discovering ways of how online moneymaking works so you might as well just do without them altogether.

This reason may not sound as problematic as the other reasons I’ve mentioned, but it’s exactly why a lot of people choose to use the Internet for things other than generating income from it! Just remember:

In the end, despite these difficulties, making money online is still better than living with a dead end job. Working online, whether as an entrepreneur or marketer, will give you more time for yourself and your family.

You even get to build your own career! On the other hand, a dead end job only promises retirement at the end of the road – if you don’t get laid off before you even get there! So yes, earning money online is not that easy and simple. But, once it pays off, it will definitely, most certainly pay off.
