First of all, you need to have an audience.     Another important aspect, as far as I am concerned is to know when to stop and avoid annoying people. I do not believe in aggressive marketing and if someone keeps sending me messages about buying something or visiting sites, after a while I will ignore him. A smart marketing campaign must be diverse and entertaining. Even if I do not buy from you this time, if you entertain me, at least I will not ignore you the next time!

      I couldn’t agree more, Axel! Gone are the days when aggressive marketing of products will result in high-yield profits.

      Marketers have to realize that people in the Internet have a choice, and it’s up to the marketers to come up with a compelling and smart campaign that will make people choose their product. Again, it’s about people’s choice!
